As Design Chair for the South Pasadena Tournament of Roses, I led the creative vision and execution of award-winning parade floats over six consecutive years. Partnering closely with volunteers, construction teams, and technical experts, I oversaw the full design process — from conceptual sketches and materials sourcing to on-site build coordination — ensuring every float balanced artistic innovation, structural integrity, and storytelling impact.
During my tenure, the city was honored with four awards, including the prestigious Fantasy Trophy in 2012, where I was thrilled to be part of the float itself. This experience reinforced my belief in the power of collaboration, creativity, and community to transform imaginative ideas into celebrated experiences that delight audiences.
